And the Winners Are......

…not winners of an Academy Award, but winners of Sweet Water’s 2019 Water Quality Mini-Grant Program! Fourteen of the 24 project proposals submitted last fall from diverse organizations were chosen by Sweet Water’s panel of judges to receive funding. The winners will complete projects that will improve the health of our shared water resources in southeastern Wisconsin.

The Water Quality Mini-Grant Program supports efforts that make use of green infrastructure practices or other approaches to improve water quality, enhance environmental conservation, restore aquatic habitat, or educate people about these issues.

Sweet Water appreciates the time and effort that goes into the creation of the proposals submitted. We appreciate the time and effort of the non-winners who applied as well because they have also shown the initiative to improve water quality in our region.
